- What are your breakfast options?
- As for breakfast, we have a sumptuous breakfast made to order each day here in our Avia kitchen. Hours are 6:30am to 10:00am weekdays, and 7:00am to 11:00am weekends. The buffet is $14.95 per person plus tax, or there is also an a la carte menu for breakfast.
- What transport is available to get around?
- Unfortunately, Avia does not have an airport shuttle. However, there are plenty of taxicabs awaiting riders at the airport, as well as several rental car agencies there. It is about a 20-minute trip from the airport to the hotel, and the fare is generally around $24 one way.
Once downtown in the historic district where we are, everything of interest is within walking distance: dining, nightlife, shopping, points of interest, beautiful houses, and of course, our shady squares and lively riverfront.
Many of our guests like to take the trolley tours that have on & off privileges for $25 per person -- that way, they can use them as transportation in addition to the touring around the downtown historic district. We also have pedicabs for hire, which are very popular for getting about. We are a small city, so hailing a cab is not an option. However, if someone wants to travel further afield, such as to the beach, we can certainly call a taxi service for them.
- What can I do nearby?
- As for entertainment and attractions, we are in the heart of it all on Ellis Square. Evenings here are lively in the AVIA Lounge which is open from 4:00pm to 11:00pm Monday-Thursday, 2:00pm to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 4:00pm to 10:00pm Sunday.
- Do you have internet?
- We do have complimentary Wi-Fi in each of our rooms and throughout the hotel.
- Do you provide parking?
- There is valet parking here for $20 per night with in & out privileges. Self-parking is also an option in the same city-owned garage underneath the hotel and Ellis Square, which we face.
