What transport is available to get around?
We have a shuttle for the local area but we do not normally go to downtown St. Paul. There is no public transit available for downtown. Therefore it's either rental car or taxi. Locally we have two fairly good shopping centers. You could walk to them in summer but not recommended in winter. Our shuttle will drop you off and pick you up.
What can I do nearby?
Movie theatre (9 screens) about 1 mile. Various sports bars such as Champps about 1 mile and Buffalo Wild Wings 100 yards. Dinner theatre, The Historic Mounds Theatre, about 4 miles.
Do you have internet?
We have high-speed internet access throughout the hotel (all rooms and all public spaces) and it's free.
Do you provide parking?
We have a total of 120 parking spaces in a single level open lot. 6 of these spaces are suitable for handicap parking. There are more than 30 plug-in opportunities for vehicles that need it in cold weather. The lot is easy to navigate and is suitable for trucks, vehicles with trailers and motor coaches. Parking is free.
How do I get there?
If guests would arrive at the airport of Minneapolis/St. Paul International (MSP). Then we are located 21 miles from the airport. Options between airport and Hilton Garden Inn are: taxi about 25 minutes drive and $50-$60. If by SuperShuttle, about 1 hour and $21.00 OW and $40.00 RT. We have a specially negotiated rate with SuperShuttle. Rental car will take you about 20 minutes if you know where you are going and 30 if you are following a GPS.
