The beach can be reached by taking the Valley Retriever. It takes people from Bend, Oregon (central Oregon) through Sisters, Oregon (also central Oregon) over the Cascade Mountain range to the valley (Corvallis, Salem, Portland), and then over to the coast (Newport, Lincoln City).

The Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is 1/2 mile from the center of town. It is an easy walk. However one can drive their car or get a taxi from Sisters Taxi and Shuttle.
